Texas Pro-Life Advocates Going After Kay Bailey Hutchison on Abortion

Austin, TX (LifeNews.com) -- Texas-based pro-life advocates are going after Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison saying she votes mostly pro-life but that she supports legalized abortion. They are criticizing her for challenging pro-life Gov. Rick Perry in the 2010 primary and potentially defeating him and opening up her Senate seat for an abortion advocate. Vision America head and pro-life activist Dr. Rick Scarborough summarized the concerns for pro-life advocates. "Rick Perry has his detractors in Texas and I have been openly critical of some of his positions as Governor, but he is solidly pro-life and pro-family and Texas has prospered under his able leadership," he said.
