The story reported yesterday regarding the USDA official who said she didn't help a white farmer with the "full force" of her office has taken a dramatic turn. First, the NAACP condemned her comments and called for her resignation. Now, after the organization produces the full video of her speech, they are changing their tune. It appears that even though Shirley Sherrod made the comments at an NAACP function and that the full video was in NAACP possession, that they didn't actually review the material before jumping on the bandwagon. And now, they are blaming conservative news outlets for being "snookered."
Ok, here's the story... conservative activist Andrew Breitbart received a video showing USDA official Shirley Sherrod giving a speech at an NAACP event. That clip of her speech can be seen here:
