NORFOLK, Va. -- Barack Obama will be a one-man television blitz on Wednesday, saturating prime-time with a 30-minute ad and popping up on the buzzy late-night TV scene.
He is also giving an interview to a prominent network news anchor, and appearing with fellow Democratic star Bill Clinton at a rally that is timed to hit the late-evening news.
So that line in Obama's stump speech about how parents need to turn the television off more at home? He might make an exception this day.
Obama's flush with cash after record-shattering fundraising because he did a 180 on his vow to accept public campaign financing -- giving the Democrat an edge with $600 million over Republican rival John McCain's campaign, which relies on federal funding of about $84 million.
