Barack Obama Picks Pro-Abortion Gov. Tim Kaine to Head Democratic Party

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Barack Obama is adding to the pro-abortion record he is building as the incoming president and he has tapped pro-abortion Virginia. Gov. Tim Kaine to be the next chairman of the Democratic Party. Kaine will step into the handpicked role later this month and mold the party to promote Obama's agenda.
Kaine was one of the handful of people to make the short list for Obama's running mate last year and now the outgoing governor will be one of the point people for promoting Obama's message.
Obama is expected to make the announcement official later this week and Kaine may operate the party from Richmond, Virginia until January 2010, when he is expected to head to Washington. That's because Kaine still has one year left to serve of his term as governor.
